CentacareCQ to host career information open day in Emerald

AS the demand for more aged care and disability care support services continues to grow throughout Central Queensland, CentracareCQ is jumping into action.
Their Emerald branch (141 Egerton Street) will hold a Career Information Open Day next month to advise potential future employees the range of career opportunities within the aged care and disability care support services sector.
CentacareCQ team leader – identity and employee engagement Don Butler said the open day would include two sessions:
- Wednesday, June 13 from 5pm to 7pm
- Thursday, June 14 from 9am to 11am.
“The Open Day will give people the opportunity to find out more about CentacareCQ, get to know the team and the vision and values in which we hold and the opportunities of making a difference to the community,” Don said.
“CentacareCQ is expanding its existing services in Emerald to now provide support services to the aged and disability sector and we are keen to provide such services to those in need.
“This opportunity is ideal for anyone (young and old) who is interested in gaining employment in the aged care and disability care sector by delivering In Home Community Care Support Services.”
