CentacareCQ Level 3 Coronavirus Response plan – what this means for clients

From 1st April CentacareCQ will be upgrading to response level 3 as detailed in our Business Continuity Plan. This increase is not due to any identified specific increase in risk within our communities but to ensure we can continue to comply with Government regulation as it is released and ensure we are fully ready once local transmission starts to occur.

What does this mean for clients?

  • All CentacareCQ sites are closed to visitors and clients from 1st April. Staff, tenants and approved contractors may still attend.
  • All outreach services for the Clinical and Social Services Team will stop with approval required on a case by case basis if the worker wants to meet a client in person.
  • Increased use of personal protective equipment by support workers when delivering services.
  • Our scheduling team will reduce the number of individual support workers working with each client.
