Community shows their support Domestic Violence Awareness Month

Emerald Police Station and local businesses throughout the region are showing their support in aid of Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

Shades of purple, in the forms of banners and balloons, are being raised in support of the cause in the hopes to raise awareness. Businesses include Northern Light Technologies, The Outpost and Grimshaw’s Quality Cars.

CentacareCQ provides supports and services to adults, children and young people who are experiencing, or at risk of experiencing, domestic and family violence.
