Council building glows purple for Domestic Violence Awareness Month

EMERALD: A splash of glowing purple shines from the Central Highlands Regional Council building throughout the month of May in aid of Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

The eye-catching colour can be seen from a great distance down Egerton Street, reminding the community of the importance of speaking out against Domestic Violence and remembering those who have tragically lost their lives.

CentacareCQ provides supports and services to adults, children and young people who are experiencing, or at risk of experiencing, domestic and family violence.

These confidential services are offered at our Emerald site, and via outreach to surrounding areas.
