Adventure time for Rockhampton and Yeppoon social groups

Rockhampton Social Group’s first trip to Birch Carroll and Coyle Cinemas to see Finding your Feet after enjoying a much appreciated seniors morning tea, which was provided.

ROCKHAMPTON Social Groups have been out and about this year visiting some new destinations and trying out different things around the region.

CentacareCQ has some exciting adventures coming up including a trip out to Koorana Crocodile Farm, a Caves Tour and a Mt Morgan Gold Mine Tour.

The organisation has a few new permanent groups which have now commenced in Rockhampton including monthly fishing and movie trips and will also be hosting out of town trips on a weekly basis.

Fishing enthusiast Neil Hodda catches the first fish in CentacareCQ’s new fishing group.

The Mystery Tour Group headed out to Blackwater in March, enjoying their surprise trip to the Coal Mine Centre before having a picnic in the park.

The Craft Group has been busy card making and knitting and the Pamper Group ladies have been thoroughly enjoying their foot spa and getting their nails painted each fortnight.

CentacareCQ are now offering Social Groups to clients in the Yeppoon and Emu Park areas each week.

Tropical Wanderers Group enjoyed fish and chips at the Causeway Lake Kiosk while listening to Daphne read poetry.

Regular luncheons will be held at different venues as well as Op Shopping, Plant Nursery visits and BBQ’s along the beachfront.

The Social Groups will also have special events where Yeppoon and Rockhampton groups will meet up for different activities -The more the merrier!

CentacareCQ also provide transport to and from all activities from your door.
