Our Services:

Community TransportSee Notes
- Car: One client per vehicle (or one client and their carer).
- Bus: One client per row (Carer must be in separate row).
- Clients & carers are not permitted to sit in the front seat.
- Group bookings will be to a maximum of 10 people. Renal Services are exempt from this change.
- A list of the clients that attend each group and their contact numbers will be recorded if ever contact tracing is required.
- Vehicles will be disinfected between each trip.
- Services are available from 6am to 1pm (Monday to Friday).
- CentacareCQ to arrange taxi services outside of these hours.
- Some destinations and journeys may no longer be possible. Please confirm at time of booking.
- Staff do not come to work if they are unwell

Social GroupsSee Notes
- Groups will be limited to 10 clients per group
- Temperature checks on staff and clients at the start of each activity
- Hand sanitizer available
- 1.5m social distancing rules to be adhered to
- Masks are also available
- A list of the clients that attend each group and their contact numbers will be recorded if ever contact tracing is required.
- Staff do not come to work if they are unwell

- 1.5 metres distance must be maintained between people during service.
- Appropriate protective equipment will be used during service (this may include gloves, disposable gown, eye protection & surgical mask).
- The following Out of Home Services are still available:
- Taking the client shopping for food or other supplies (no window shopping)
- Attending appointments including medical appointments
- Attending another household – inline with social distancing guidelines.
- Dropping the client off at an alternative location
- Other essential trips. Please confirm at time of booking.

NursingSee Notes
- A phone call will be made prior to the appointment to ensure that the client or other residents of the dwelling are not sick or exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19
- Questions regarding known or potential contact with someone with or suspected of having COVID-19 will also be asked
- It may be necessary to cancel/reschedule appointments based on the wellness/contact status of the client or other residents of the dwelling
- It is normal practice for our nursing staff to use gloves, masks and other PPE when conducting services.

Community Transport Notes and Safety Information
Our essential transport services are still in operation. Based on the advice and direction from the Department of Health, CentacareCQ has made some additional changes to our community transportation services.

Social Groups Notes and Safety Information
Our social group activities recommenced as of June 1. We are very excited to offer group activities now that Coronavirus restrictions are starting to be lifted. However there will be some changes to ensure client and staff safety.
