Transport program revs up their services

CentacareCQ’s transport team are geared up to help clients with their transport needs.

NOW in their third year of implementing their transport program CentacareCQ are planning to find even more ways to improve their service to their clients in the region.

The team has been travelling to different sites during the past few weeks and the feedback has about transport has been very positive.

In order to make things even easier, the organisation will be making some slight changes to the booking process.

These changes will in turn make the process faster and the level of service even better.

CentacareCQ‘s transport service is not only available for medical appointments, but for a wide variety of needs including: shopping, visits with friends and hair and beauty appointments.

The team are here to help their clients achieve their independence.

As with any business, CentacareCQ are always looking to partner with like-minded organisations in order to offer even better transportation solutions to those in need.

With this in mind, CentacareCQ has been fortunate enough to work with Capricorn Coast Aged Care Committee to offer a transport service for clients needing to travel to Rockhampton for further travel to major centres for medical treatment (ie: plane, train, bus etc).

This service is available to all Capricorn Coast residents, regardless of whether they are CentacareCQ clients or not.

This service has proven to be very popular thus far.

The organisation has also partnered with the Qld Health Renal Units of both Rockhampton and Bundaberg Base Hospitals in assisting people to and from dialysis appointments.

On a sad note: the team farewells to two of their drivers: Andrew (Rockhampton) and Stacey (Blackwater).

Both Andrew and Stacey have been a part of the CentacareCQ team from the very beginning and have enjoyed their time as drivers.

They now look to take their careers in a different direction.

CentacareCQ wishes them both the very best.

CentacareCQ welcomes members of organisations, groups and clubs the opportunity to take advantage of CentacareCQ’s Transport Program.

For more information, phone CentacareCQ on 1800 374 772 or simply ask the driver upon your next ride.
